-Pt. 2- Short Story T1

-Pt. 2-
-Short Story T1-

The crescent moon shown what light it could onto the wet streets. The air smells pure and clear, and humid. The rain comes down in a light 'hm' as it spreads its tears across the city. The sound of a few cars is heard but they are distant and faint; it appears as though the area is asleep or dead.
"Think the rain might work to our advantage today, don't you?" Jack said with an everly prevalent sarcastic tone.
Jake growled light and tensed up his shoulders pulling them in more. " Not the temperature."
The two men walked up to the iron clad doors of a building casted in white marble and stone. Jack brought his hand up and knocked. The building echoed with the lifeless-ness it sustained within. The two men looked at each other and were thinking the same thing. 'Too easy.'
" You want to go around back and I'll take the front?" Jack asked.
"Sure why not, but make sure you don't use too much power. They got sensors here."
Jack nodded and then turned to face the door. His hands were in the front pockets of his wet jacket. His hood was up and dripping with rain droplets. He grinned and bared his abnormally sharp canines, and his eyes shown a brightly with a deep blue. Suddenly he was gone, just vanished.
" That's as much as you can use for now Jack!" Jake yelled from the outside, and after a few moments you could hear a faint yell from within the building.
Jack looked around in the pitch darkness. Nothing was visible in any way, shape,or form. His eyes radiating their blue color was the only thing someone would be able to see from a distance, but even that would be hard to see for they were dim, even at their brightest. 'If I can't use power, then how am I supposed to see anything?" Jack thought to himself.
Jake now made his way around to the back of the building. The streetlights radiance retreated now at this point where Jake went down the alley way. He looked from one roof to the next, and watched as the rain feel from the black sky. He water proof jacket kept him generally dry as he made his way targeted destination. A loud splash was heard as he stepped in a puddle. 'Perfect Start!' He yelled to himself.
