War

Yet again I am doing an opinion article, however this may lead into a nice short story, and by that I mean I may get an idea. Anyway, this article is opinion based.

 Now I have never taken part, nor do I have intention in taking part in the vicious acts of war, however I do something id like to say about it. War is no much skill now as it is, who has more money to buy the best weapons. The unfortunate truth is that, whoever has superior weaponry wins, though this has been true in many ages, it is further pushed up and portrayed nowadays. You may wonder what I mean, and this is what I shall explain.

War back in the iron age and time periods around their, took tactic and primary stamina and skill. If you were inexperienced and could not run or do physical labor for very long on the battlefield, you were dead. Tactic is still required, along with the stamina, but not as much anymore. War now is considered very honorable and heroic and courageous. This is true I will admit, I am not thrashing on any current soldiers. I am merely stating my opinion that back in the days of sword and shield, war was more prideful and it was much more difficult. I often imagine myself in the fights I watch in movies, sure they're not real, but they are the closest I can get to the real thing; and with that I find myself lost in the battle because I don't think I could understand who's who in a situation like that, more or less I couldn't maintain focus because for all you know, someone is gonna sneak up behind you and you will get double teamed.

All I'm saying is that back in the day, the chances of getting killed were much higher because it was chaos. There is no other way to describe a battle back then than just total confusion and chaos. If I had the choice, would I live back in those days?  Personally, I would like to live in a mixed kind of way, where people live in a somewhat old style and we use weapons such as swords, spears, shields, etc. But we still have lights, and medicine.
