And More Section(Psyche. Theory) U1

And More Section
Psyche Theory

(This blog will be done in opinion style)

Being a 16 year old in high school and taking psychology class is challenging but also fun. This also makes the people, who care, think about why we think the way we do. By this I mean that some people think of their own theories as to why we think the way we do and stuff within the neural nature.

Unfortunately the theory has by passed my mind, however there is one theory that I can relate to my own idea. The theory or perspective that is out there believes that the subconscious of our mind holds all these nasty and horrible thoughts, and our conscious mind finds ways to block off these thoughts and keep them at bay; though sometimes the thoughts find ways to our conscious mind. In a way I do agree with this theory because all humans have urges to do things they normally wouldn't. Think about that for a second, have you ever wanted to do something ( I will not list things, you can imagine them yourself) that would be considered immoral or illegal and you fight it off, but you still thought of it? That is the idea I guess of that perspective.

Where I come to think differently is that we as humans are still prone to basic and primal urges. We want to do things that we shouldn't, and things in that nature. Also in a way we want to be free. Government limits us on what we can do, and also money limits us as well. Without money, you have no freedom. Humans strive for freedom so they can do whatever they want. Though that is not necessarily the idea I was thinking. The idea I was thinking was that, our subconscious is still very primal. We hold all our primal thoughts and urges within our subconscious'. Our conscious mind is the modern one that can distinguish from right and wrong. Though also, our subconscious holds many secrets. For example, we use roughly only 20% of our brain. When I hear that, I say that 80% of our brain is the subconscious. So they was I see it; our mind is 20% conscious and 80% unconscious. If we are to find a way to use 100% of our brain, there would be nothing we couldn't do. Now when I think back on it, my idea is practically the same to that theory.

-So I want to make it clear that I was not trying to steal anything from anyone, I was merely trying to get what I think out there, along with getting a blog article in for class.-
